Hello, welcome to the Wildflower Mamas community! This website is meant to be a tool to learn, grow, and inspire you with plant and herbal knowledge while providing resources for people all over mother earth.

I'm Sam Eckert - an herbalist, nutrition specialist, and wine enthusiast. I currently live in Mesa, AZ with my spouse, our toddler (Maron), and our little farm of 3 dogs and 8 chickens. I have spent the last 11 years formally studying plants and their uses. This includes medicinal use, ethnobotany, skincare, botany/plant identification and garden support. As an Arizona native and a short stint as Pacific Northwest (PNW) transplant I am in awe of nature - weather, agriculture, fawn and flora.

My love for children and reverence for the power of the female body made the path to becoming a doula natural. I'm currently studying to become a certified doula, helping to guide and support women through conception, pregnancy, labor & delivery, and perinatal/post-natal phases.
